Classes and their levels:Fighter

Mercenary - A fighter for hire, ready to lend sword, bow and dagger for the right price.
Rogue - Men and women with wits honed as quick and sharp as their daggers. Mercenaries who are skilled enough in battle and with more honor than most are raised to this rank
Marksmen - Palanestinan Marksmen drive fear into the hearts of their enemies as easily as they drive their arrows into their chests. Rogues who have demonstrated adept at bowmanship become marksmen, setting aside their other weaponry training for now.
Gladiator - Having mastered the bow, a Marksman takes up melee training once again taking on the rank of Gladiator - an able master of hand to hand weaponry and combat.
Avenger - The fury of battle takes it toll on those who've become Gladiators. Those who advance greatly in their training become Avengers, mighty battle hardened Gladiators who are fueled by the lust of battle.
Knight - The greatest of Avengers, who learn to chanel the battlelust and fine tune their abilities are promoted to the ranks of Knight. Given a great Shield to supplement whatever weapon they've chosen in Mastery as an Avenger, they are entrusted with duties to protect as well as fight.
Paladin - Those Knights whose strength and power are only surpassed by their virtue and honor are raised to the Holy rank of Paladin. Their hearts, souls and armor imbued thrice over by the Deities they worship, Paladin become the symbol of hope for those who have none. Their reforged and blessed shields defend all they hold dear; their blessed weapons end all who fight against them.

Magic

Apprentice - A beginner on the path to a Mystic, the spark of magic has only just been discovered and is slowly being cultured and taught to grow.
Mage - An mage is an apprentice whose abilities with magic have surpassed the initial levels required for training. Able to do simple daily abilities entirely with their magic in training for other more powerful spells and incantations.
Elemental - A mage whose powers have focused on the elements using brute concentrations of each or delicate and intricate mixtures and weaves of the five elements to cast spells that are beginning to be valued in both battle and daily life.
Spellweaver - Elementals who fuse their abilities with the more mystic of spells become Spellweavers. Able to cast any low to mid level spell with ease, their training for higher level and more powerful weaves has begun and is well underway.
Summoner - Spellcasters who have honed their strengths with Magick to he able to summon entities both from nothingness and from other existing realms are eleveted to Summoner. Summoners line the battlefield as well as the construction yard calling forth beasts and other great and strange creatures and beings to perform their bidding.
Conjurer - Conjurers were once summoners who learnt how to manipulate their summoning abilities to include inanimate objects. Conjurers can conjure anything out of thin air, usually taking the essence from things around them to create the thing they conjure. The greatest of conjurers hone their abilities to include natural elements, like thunder lightning and hail - more advanced and devastating than an Elementals.
Mystic - Few ever reach the supreme rank of Mystic, the power destroying many years before attaining that glorified rank. Mystics command enough power to receive the utmost respect of the queen and the royal family. Though some Heroes of Palanestina surpass their abilities, true Mystic power lies in groups. Together they can even raise Palanestina to the clouds.

Temple

Druid - Newcomers to the temple are first taught of nature, learning to tend and take care of their natural surroundings through devotion and prayer
Monk - Druids who have demonstrated utmost devotion to their way of life become Monks, their duties elevated to include other temple tasks as well as aiding Clerics and even Saints.
Cleric - Clerics are Monks who have manifested a slight ability of magick, though not enough to be tranfered as an Apprentice magician. It is cultured and trained in the arts of healing, and in so doing, become Clerics aiding those who cannot be helped by herbs and physical medicines.
Saints - Clerics who have forsaken themselves in their quest to aid others are honored by the title of Saint. Though they are revered as holy they will never acknowledge it, continuing on with duties with no thought to themselves.
Priest - Saints who continue in their duties and surpass tests placed to them by high ranking members of the Temple order are initiated as Priests, leading sermons and services with all their experience as Saints and Clerics. Also beginning studies into the divine.
High-Priests - Priests who continue to advance in their studies and duties become High Priests, high ranking members of the Temple Order who then begin to scout for new priests testing thing as part of their new duties.
Oracle - Studies and Devotion give way to enlightenment of a far grander kind. High-Priests who know nothing of self are blessed with the ability to look into the future and forsee circumstances, these High-Priests who are usually by now so old that they have lost all sense of natural sight are revered as Oracles and upheld with the utmost respect.

Evil

Scum: Nothing but the Scum of the Earth, nothing suits you better than the dirt under your souls and the filth that you live in and by.
Bandit: Scum of the streets who've grown a little more backbone, taking what doesn't belong and stealing it by force if necesarry, such is the life of a bandit.
Raider: When Bandits come together and grow more bold, they become Raiders. Attacking people in groups rather than in single person or duo person teams. Raiding for what they need, rarely leaving any alive in the attack.
Assassin: Who ever said killing wasn't fun? Assassins thrive off the death they deliver, visiting whoever they are employed to kill and taking their lives cleanly and silently, every now and then even taking one just for sport.
Destroyer - Assassins who become more prominent in business may take more of an open ground to their killing and destruction of lives and become Destroyers. Now in the employ of theirselves alone, they do what needs to be done to settle scores and wreak havoc.
Warlord - Lords of War, mostly skilled soldiers banished for their ideals, becoming Warlords leading bands of the soldiers who followed them. Their vision is as clear as the darkened hearts that infest the cavities in their chests. Seeking to punish those who banished them from service.
Overlord - Warlords whose power gain supremity become overlords. The crime factions align beneath Overlords. Few overlords are even seen in open ground, yet their name strikes fear into those who are at enemies with them and those who serve them just the same.

Political

Envoy: The lowest rank of political representation. Rarely ever sent on diplomatic missions alone, envoy serve as a learning and assisting rank to other higher ranks diplomatic officals
Prefect: An Envoy who has demonstrated understanding and abilitiy in diplomatic situations becomes a Prefect. Leading over other envoys and taking on more leading roles in political situations
Viceroy: A type of Governor. Prefects who's abilities in politics rise above others are promoted to the rank of Viceroy taking on duties of administration as well as government.
Ambasador: The supreme level of diplomat, an Ambassador most often leads missions into enemy or neutral territory to initiate diplomatic relations. They are afforded huge amounts of respect both by those that assist them and those who receive them. A slight made to an ambassador is said to be a slight made to the Authoritative figure who sent him or her.
Advisor: Often a retired Ambassador becomes an Advisor to Royalty. Knowing politics and diplmacy like the back of their hands they are considered an asset within the Realm to assist the reining sovereign in affairs of state.
Chamberlain: An advisor who's relation to the Royal family has grown beyond the call of their duty becomes Chamberlain, attending to more personal matters as well as Advisory, they're position is almost at Royalty itself.
Regent - The ultimate political rank that exists in Palanestina. Regents rule in place of an absent monarch. Although all decisions are made a governing council that is forged upon the absense of such a ruling figure.

Seaman

Deckhand - Welcome to the ranks of seamen. Your first duty is to scrub the decks. All sailors begin at the lowly rank of Deckhand, where they learn the basics of how to crew a ship
Sailor - A deckhand who's finally learnt what he or she is doing becomes a Sailor manning the sails and performing more advanced sailing duties.
Pirate - A sailor whose skills have surpassed a normal Sailor becomes a Pirate, a man who's adept at sailing is matched by none other of the Sailor rank, but whose wiles and intentions are less than true.
Navigator : Pirates also learn their places, those that do are made Navigators, enhancing their abilities in plotting courses and picking correct destinations
FirstMate: A Sailor who has learned almost all their is too know becomes First Mate. Second only to the Captain, the First Mate fulfills a semi-administrative position under the Captain.
Captain: A captain controls and commands an entire ship and crew. Their word is absolute and all answer to their command.
Commander - A captain who adequacy at commanding his crew grows beyond that which is required for captain is promoted to Commander. A revered master of ships, the Commander has the Authority to command fleets in naval battle and expedition. A commander's position commands respect in the royal and militar courts as well as in the civil stage.

Business

Cartpusher - A beginner businessperson pushing a cart through the streets selling his or her wares.
Peddler - A peddler is a cartpusher whose received the exclusive rights to sell wares on certain streets, a Peddlar no longer keeps a cart but instead utilizes a horse drawn carriage or wagon to sell his or her items.
Tentkeeper - A peddler who has chosen to settle down in one particular place and has received the permits to do so. Setting up his wares and items in a tent instead of a cart of a carriage or wagon, and selling them from that base.
Dealer - A tentkeeper who has taken up a more personal style of selling what he or she has. Dealing with customers on a more personal level.
Trader - A dealer who has advanced in his techniques in trading becomes a Trader reeling in more profits with greater stakes and items to sell and trade.
Merchant - Merchants are traders whose abilities in selling and trading surpass all of their colleagues. Raising to the commercial rank of Merchant. Employing other Dealers and Traders as well as Guards to ensure business is kept up to speed and well tuned.
Shopkeeper - A businessperson who has amassed enough wealth to purchase a building of their own to sell their items from. A shopkeeper is the ultimate rank attainable in the Business field.

Civil

Citizen - A citizen of Palanestina. Newcomers who have come to settle permanently in the floating fortress realm.
Elite - Members of the Citizenry who have lived in Palanestina for a decent amount of time and are familiar with her Laws and standards are elevated to the ranks of Elite.
Noble - Elite citizens who've shown distinction in their elevated rank are defined and raised to noble. Lesser at first but then rising in ranks with power and the entails of noble duty.
Baron - A nobleman or noblewoman who has obtained a leadership position is issued the rank of Baron, with duties of both government and administration of certain assets to his family and to Palanestina.
Lord - An elevated baron, a Lord is a noble who is given complete rights over a portion of land with citizens to work for him as employs on that land. A lord answers to the Sovereign him or herself, or to a liege lord or Magistrate.
Magistrate - Lords who have been tutored in the affairs of state and in deeper laws become Magistrates, governing and administering the Law in civil and criminal cases in the court of law.
Regional - A Magistrate Lord who has been retired from his duty is given a new duty to govern over an entire Region of land in the realm. A Regional answers directly to the Ruler of Palanestina and helps in governing and keeping order throughout the entire kingdom.
