Blackjack

Resembling an elongated sickle blade more so than a scythe, the fist-scythe is commonly produced with a thickening of the blade towards the point, resulting in a less nimble weapon, but one which packs a more effective impact for its size. Constructed in this way, the weight distribution necessitates a fighting style which employs more chopping-style attacks and can result in either a cutting action from the blade's leading edge, or a stabbing impact if the point of the weapon is brought to bear. Yierka-Spur
Ostensibly evolved from the foot gear of Sea of Fire nomads, the yierka-spur is essentially a knuckle-duster mounted with from one to three spikes, which can range up to several inches in length. Although the weapon can be used in slashing attacks with limited effectiveness, it is primarily designed as a punching weapon.		 Troll-Claw
A larger, heavier version of the tiger-claw, the troll-claw is usually constructed with longer, heavier claws sometimes reaching lengths in excess of six inches. Given the weight of the blades, and the need for carry-through to lend inertia to the weapon's impact, the troll-claw is often built with parallel braces which run along the wielder's forearm. Although able to do effective damage against heavier armor classes, the troll-claw is substantially slower than the tiger-claw and is still only marginally effective against plate.
Pain-Grip
Leather gloves set with inch-long spikes on the inside of the hand rather than the back. Designed for open-handed attacks, but most effective when employed to grasp an opponent, then clench the hand in order to drive the spikes into the victim.		 Razor-Paw

Sporting a rapidly tapering blade that is wide at its base and usually quite thin in cross-section, the blade extends two-to-three inches before bending sharply 90 degrees and tapering quickly to a point. Seen most often in 		Katar
Unique in their construction, in that the handle of the weapon was built at right angles to the blade, the katar was a thrusting blade with a blade designed to penetrate armor, specifically chain mail. The handle was made up of two parallel bars connected by two or more crosspieces, one of which is at the end of the side bars and is fastened to the blade. The blades are always double-edged and generally straight.

Mace
A mace is constructed of a pointed, spiked or bladed ball set atop a haft. The weight and hardness of a mace make it a more effective against an armored opponent than most swords.		 Stave

Military Pick
The military pick is related to the crow-bill, however its large size requires that it be wielded with both hands. It is constructed primarily of two spikes at right angles to a long haft.		 Crow-Bill
The crow-bill is a descendant from the pick. It is constructed with a spike or dagger-like blade set at a right angle to the haft. In addition to crushing, it is also a piercing weapon, and very effective against heavy armors.		 War Mattock
The war mattock evolved from tools used to dig trenches. Much like the military pick, the mattock bears a spike which is attached at a right angle to the haft. However, on the other side the war mattock bears a flat edge which was once used for digging. The war mattock is a large weapon and requires two hands to wield.
Hand-Axe
Axes come in many varieties, but their basic construction is simple: A large flat blade, sometimes with one edge, sometimes with two, attached at the end of a haft which may be made from a wide variety of materials. A hand-axe is smaller than its cousin, the war-axe, and can be wielded in a single hand.		 Battle Axe

This weapon first came into existence as a farm tool used to measure the distance between seeds in a crop and to plant the crop itself (poking the tip into the ground). The katana is a medium-length sword with a deadly sharp edge and finely-hone balance. Traditionally, it is carried in the belt or sheath with the cutting edge upwards. This way it is possible to draw the sword and cut in single motion. Katana's are a hybrid between two-handed and one-handed weapons. However, when used in two hands, the katana will require only two-handed skill.

Claymore
The claymore is an especially massive variant of the two-handed sword. Its enormous bulk provides natural critical weighting to the weapon, making the claymore the weapon of choice of many warriors.		 Flamberge

Morning Star
The morning star is a combination of a mace and a ball and chain. The weapon is constructed of at least one ball which is attached to a haft by a metal chain. However, there may be more than one ball and chain utilized.		 Ball and Chain
The ball and chain is an articulated concussion weapon which consists of a heavy metal ball at the end of a chain attached to the end of a haft. The flexibility granted by the chain multiplies the force of a blow, making it more difficult for an opponent to parry.		 Leather Whip
A whip is constructed of a long flexible rod or piece of leather attached to a haft. The leather whip is the black sheep of the blunt family as it is not terribly affective against heavy armors.		 Flail
Similar to the morning star, the flail consists of a spiked rod or ball suspended from a haft by a chain. The flail, however, is considerably more massive and requires both hands to wield.

Light Crossbow

The quarterstaff is a basic weapon which consists primarily of a long length of wood. The quarterstaff requires two hands to hold, however, both ends of the staff can be utilized in order to deal damage to an opponent.
